How we handle the documents you send us, from upload to deletion.
Uploads
- Uploads are encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
Where documents go
- Documents are stored on servers in the US that we run with Linode (Akamai), and read on rented GPU servers in the US from Modal.
- Our website host (Netlify) never receives documents.
- Our Privacy note sets out in writing where your documents are stored and who can access them.
Access
- Access to client files is limited to the people who review your documents and run our server.
Deletion
- Free test documents are deleted within 48 hours after your scorecard is sent. If no scorecard is sent, they’re deleted within 30 days.
- If you email us documents, they arrive in our Google Workspace inbox. We move them to our secure system and remove them from the inbox within 7 days; Google, our email provider, then deletes them from Trash after 30 days. The copies in our secure system are kept and deleted the same way as uploads.
- Paying clients’ documents are deleted 30 days after delivery, or sooner on request.
Not used for training
- Your documents are not used to train models.
Your data stays yours
- Client data is never sold or used for advertising, and is shared only with the providers that run our service, listed in our Privacy note.
- We sign an NDA on request.
