Privacy note.

This website

• This website sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and loads no analytics, advertising, tracking, outside fonts or embedded content.
• The free test sign-up and upload form is on our upload page (upload.ryumonaudit.com). What it collects and where it goes is set out in sections 03 and 04.
• The home page uses built-in scripts for its animations. They make no network requests, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
• The website is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, time and page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Netlify never receives client documents.

If you email us

• We use your name, work email and what you write only to reply and to discuss our service with you.
• We never sell your information.

Client documents

• You can upload documents on our free test page or email them to team@ryumonaudit.com.
• Emailed documents arrive first in our email inbox, which is hosted by Google Workspace (Gmail). We move them to our secure system and remove them from the inbox within 7 days; Google, our email provider, then deletes them from Trash after 30 days. The copies in our secure system are kept and deleted the same way as uploads.
• Documents are stored encrypted on servers in the US that we run with Linode (Akamai), and are read on rented GPU servers in the US from Modal. Linode and Modal are our document processors. Google Workspace hosts our email, including documents you email us, until they are deleted from Trash.
• When you sign up for a free test, we collect your work email, company name and any note you add. We use them only to run your free test, send your scorecard and discuss our service with you, and delete them within 30 days after your upload link expires.
• Our review team checks documents as part of the service.
• This note sets out in writing where your documents are stored and who can see them.
• Uploads are encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
• Free test documents are deleted within 48 hours after your scorecard is sent. If no scorecard is sent, they’re deleted within 30 days. Paying clients’ documents are deleted 30 days after delivery.
• Your documents are not used to train models, and never sold or used for advertising.

Who handles your information

• Netlify hosts this website. It may keep standard server logs and never receives client documents.
• Linode (Akamai) runs our US server, which receives free test sign-ups and uploads and stores documents.
• Modal reads documents on rented GPU servers in the US, so it receives the documents it reads.
• Google Workspace (Gmail) hosts our ryumonaudit.com email, including any documents you email us.
• Smartlead holds the contact details of people we email about our service (see section 05).
• We never sell your information.

If we emailed you

• If we sent you an email about Ryumon Audit without you contacting us first, we hold your company name, work email address and, where we found it, your first name, plus a note about your company and the web page we took it from.
• We take these details only from public business sources, such as your company’s own website or its public FMCSA listing.
• We use them only to email you about our service. They are held in Smartlead, our outreach email tool, and in our own records.
• To stop our emails, reply to any of them (for example, “no thanks”) or email team@ryumonaudit.com. We’ll stop emailing you and keep only your email address on our do-not-contact list, so you aren’t emailed again.
